Stuck on a project, or not sure where to take it next? I've spent decades on audio engineering, songwriting, and video production, and I teach one-on-one over video. Lessons are built around your goals and the gear you already have, not a fixed curriculum. New students start with a short message or a paid intro call so we can talk through what you're working on. If you're new, the student FAQ covers most of the common questions.

What we can work on

Most lessons are custom, so this is a starting point rather than a menu. A few of the areas I cover:

Production

Ableton Live

Beginner to advanced. Workflow, arrangement, and getting around the program faster.

Songwriting & arrangement

Turning loops and ideas into finished tracks with real structure.

Sound & synthesis

VST tutorials

Synthesis and effects, so you understand your plugins instead of guessing at presets.

Modular synthesis

Patching and rack planning. Building a system that fits the way you work.

Hardware tutorials

Getting more out of your synths, samplers, and drum machines. (Some limitations apply.)

Mix & video

Mixing & mastering

A balanced mix that holds up on headphones, laptop speakers, and a club system.

Video production

Shooting, editing, and color correction for music videos and channel content.

Don't see what you're after? Tell me what you're working on. Most lessons are custom anyway.

Watch a few first

My Education playlist on YouTube uses the same approach as a lesson. Watch a couple of videos and you'll know if it works for you.

From past students

“I've learned more than I ever expected. Whatever I need help with, from production to composing to music theory, Jeremy can break it down into lessons that make my work better.”
J.K., Production & Songwriting
“I came to Jeremy's lessons with a lot of ambition and no focus. He helped me build practices for consistent progress, and made my songwriting process easier and more personal.”
M., Songwriting
“Helped me learn what I was missing in my productions, from composition to sound design tricks.”
Noisybird, Production & Arrangement
“Working with Jeremy for over five years, I always learn something new and come away with a firm grasp of where to go next. He's helped me take my music places I never imagined I could.”
Matt, Production & Arrangement
“Whatever the topic, Jeremy gives me a thoughtful, pragmatic framework I can apply to my own projects. Four-plus years in, every call ends with me stoked to go create. Truly one of the great wizards in this sphere.”
Pat, Production
“I was trying to shape three tracks into a cohesive EP and didn't know how to move forward. Jeremy helped me cut what wasn't working and sound far more professional. I released the EP on time, and it sounds way better for it.”
Damian, Songwriting & Mixing
“In a single lesson, Jeremy helped me move beyond the 8-bar-loop trap and design sounds that fit seamlessly into my track. I produced something I'm genuinely proud of and still listen to for inspiration.”
Jason, Production & Arrangement
“A genuinely fantastic educator who helped me understand the Digitakt II workflow quickly. Will be back!”
Ade, Hardware

I take on a limited number of students, so new students start one of two ways. Either one lets me learn what you're after before we book full lessons.

Option 1 · Send a note

Fill out the form below and tell me what you're working on and what you'd like to get out of lessons. It's free, and I usually reply within 48 hours to talk through fit.

Option 2 · Book a 30-minute intro

Prefer to talk it through live? Book the paid 30-minute intro ($45). We map out a plan and you'll know if I'm the right teacher for you.

After that, lessons run an hour over video and I record each one and send it to you. Booking and billing details, how to prep a track or your computer, and the rest live in the student FAQ.
